Terms of service

Effective: 1 January 2025

1. The service

Dynamica Thermal Science (“we”, “us”) provides a web application for thermodynamic calculations. By creating an account you agree to use it for lawful engineering work.

2. Engineering responsibility

The application implements published standards to high fidelity, but the engineer of record remains responsible for verifying that the chosen method, inputs and result are appropriate for the design at hand. Our calculations are tools, not signatures.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

4. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the service, share a single seat between people, or use it to develop a competing product.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, after a reasonable notice where practical. You can terminate by deleting your account.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Oslo.
